In July 2007, Capital & Counties acquired a 50 percent interest in EC&O Venues (Earls Court and Olympia Group) in a transaction that valued the company at approximately £375 million.

The partnership with the previous shareholders of EC&O Venues owns Earls Court and Olympia Exhibition Centres and the Brewery (Chiswell Street, London EC2), and has the aim of establishing the venues as landmark leisure destinations, centred around the core businesses of exhibitions, conferences and special events. The business is managed by Capital & Counties.

Now worth £380 million, this business offers over one million sq.ft. of exhibition and conference space with considerable opportunities to intensify use.
